Initiatives
As the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition grows in numbers and strength, we will work together on global initiatives to raise awareness and highlight the need for more funding and research to fight pancreatic cancer.
World Pancreatic Cancer Day
Each November, during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, we come together on World Pancreatic Cancer Day to unite the globe in bringing attention to pancreatic cancer and highlighting the need for greater awareness, funding, and research. By standing in unison against this deadly disease, we can create a brighter future for people fighting pancreatic cancer around the world.
World Pancreatic Cancer Day is November 18, 2021

Annual Meeting
WPCC ANNUAL MEETING 2021
Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic and the many unknowns still on the horizon for 2021, we have made the difficult decision to produce this year’s Annual Meeting as a Full Virtual Event. Even as we rise up out of this pandemic over the coming months, we are uncertain about future of global travel restrictions as well as the comfort level of our Coalition members to fly across the world to participate in person. Therefore, the WPCC Steering Committee and Annual Meeting Committee are exploring creative new ideas to bring our 2021 Annual Meeting to life online. Please mark your calendars for September 21 – 23, 2021 and make plans to learn, share, network and grow with your Coalition colleagues and friends at the 2021 WPCC Virtual Meeting Experience.

Q: A: |
Can individuals join the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition? Individuals cannot join the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition. The coalition is comprised of patient advocacy organizations. The World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition member organizations work with pancreatic cancer patients, their caregivers and supporters. The coalition’s goal is to strengthen the work of our member organizations so that collectively we can have an even greater impact across the globe. However, individuals can work with the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition and make a huge difference by taking part in our annual World Pancreatic Cancer Day campaign. We also encourage individuals to get involved with their local pancreatic cancer organization. |
